The continuing COVID-19 related adjustments in our everyday way of going about business has proven to be a platform for generosity and support in the past months. Wentworth affiliated contractors and local businesses have surprised us with donations of food, fresh fruit and vegetable, essentials and hygiene items, and special treats including Easter eggs.
Part of our client services during this time has included regular wellbeing check-in phone calls, with our Client Services Officers keeping track of people facing difficulties during this tough time.
In the past weeks, with a Board room full of donated goods, we have been busy packing extra bags for delivery to our tenants. These donations – and the goodwill behind them – makes an enormous difference to those who receive them.
Wentworth would especially like to thank Westcare and one of our maintenance contractors, Waratah Group Services and for their generous donations of hygiene items and fresh fruit and vegetables, and maintenance contractors, Asset Group Services, for essential food packs for clients experiencing homelessness, and B&G Enterprises, who provided 100 vulnerable tenants with supplies of toilet paper and Easter treats.
