What is Wentworth?
Wentworth Community Housing Limited is a not-for-profit housing company that provides affordable, rental housing and other housing assistance to eligible people who are on low to medium incomes.
Wentworth is a class 2 registered community housing provider with the NSW Registrar of Community Housing. Wentworth has also been awarded three year accreditation status against the National Community Housing Standards. This means that Wentworth is able to demonstrate high quality performance in service delivery, governance and financial management.
Award and Achievements
The NSW Federation for Housing Associations holds the NSW Awards for Excellence in Community Housing Dinner to recognise the achievements of the community housing sector and to encourage excellence. Wentworth has received the following awards:

- Excellence in Working with Aboriginal People and Communities
Year - 2010
- Excellence in Partnerships for our work with Project 40 Supportive Housing Service
- Highly Commended - Overall Excellence in Community Housing
A great achievement for Wentworth!!
- Stephanie Brennan, Wentworth's Manager of Community Services was recognised at the ZEST Awards, winning the award for Outstanding Community Leader. This is a wonderful recognition for Stephanie and the incredible contribution she has made to the Community Sector in Western Sydney.
- Phyllis Meadows, Wentworth's Former Client Service Team Leader was recognised at the NSW/ACT Australiasian Housing Institute, Professional Excellence in Housing Awards, winning the award for Inspirational Colleague. Phyllis then went on to be awarded Highly Commended at the National Awards, competing against colleagues from Australia and New Zealand in both the private and community housing sectors. This award recognises the hard work that Phyllis did for Wentworth and the communities in which Wentworth works.

Wentworth provides a range of services and products such as:
- Community housing – for people eligible for social housing
- Affordable Housing – for eligible people on moderate incomes
- Assistance with renting privately
- Information and referral – working with a range of non-government and government services in the local area to help people access the services and supports they need.
